Stitch Fix Box #1

I had lots of requests to see what the Stitch Fix clothes looked like once my first fix came! And while I felt pretty silly taking these photos, I'll admit I had fun trying on my loot!

It was SO fun getting a box of surprise clothes in the mail!!! The presentation was so pretty-I felt very spoiled.

Each box contains 5 items chosen by your personal stylist based on your fashion profile. You have 3 days to try your clothes on. Whatever you don't want goes inside a prepaid USPS bag that you just drop into a box or, in my case, hand to your mail lady :). Simply go online and check off which items you want!

Each fix is ordered as you want them, unless check to receive it every 2 weeks, every month, etc. I love that there is no monthly fee! There is a $20 stylist fee with each box that is waved if you buy just one item. My items ranged from $20-$60. So, not super cheap, but not outrageous. I think it is a fun treat for someone who doesn't make it to the store often! I asked my stylist to send me cheaper items next time-so, we'll see!

In my box I received a necklace, a dress, 2 blouses, and a pair of black pants.

I really liked it all, but chose just the necklace. I asked my stylist for more summery items next time as it's starting to get warmer here! I love that I can link my pinterest fashion page for Kim to see so she has a better idea of what I like. After just one box, I'm quite impressed and I already ordered my second box!

Order your first Fix! It is SO fun!

Making: dinner? I made dinner today. Yes, I think that deserves to be recorded. Maple dijon and sweet potato chicken thighs.
Drinking: red wine. Duh.
Reading: my bible when I get a chance. Today I opened up to Proverbs 31. I continued to reference through the day as I felt myself losing my cool.
Wanting: to soak up more of my children. At the moment I feel frazzled. I just want to sit on the floor with them and not be looking around at what needs to be accomplished!
Watching: nothing at the moment.
Listening: sleep machines whirring upstairs for sleeping babies :). In general? Honestly, classical music. These days I just love the way it calms us all through the day.
Eating: hummus, LOTS of cheese, salads, chicken...and currently trying to drink a gallon of water a day.
Smelling: henry's face has been particularly intoxicating to me as of recent :)
Wishing: I could see the future.
Enjoying: the never ending snow. I watch the little creatures tuck themselves away in the holes of the trees outside my window. That is how I feel. Time is standing still!
Loving: all of my husbands days of because of the snow!
Hoping: we get away together, just us, soon.
Needing: More girlfriend time! between illness and the snow, it has been too long
Feeling: joy...peace...contentment. Gratitude.
Wearing: victoria's secret cream and pink pants and a soft Gap tee.
Today was my favorite because: we played inside all day, watching the snow, reading, snuggling..Henry asked me to play the guitar song about the farm. I loved singing and watching both boys rock in their seats, smiling and dancing. Theo has been feeling sick as his photos show. But he still manages to have a good time. Winter is slowly slipping by and I am grateful for my spirit of contentment that I know is from Him.
