An Everlasting LOVE

There are not many days in my life that have truly marked me. In fact, I can only think of two. One of those days is my wedding day. I remember everything about that day so vividly; the smell of the perfume I wore, the way me dress swished when I walked, and the way it felt to hold the hands of my new husband at the alter. I was excited and hopeful on that day, knowing that my life was about to change. Nothing, though, could have prepared me for the wonderful life that would follow. After the cake was gone, the last present had been opened, and my dress was carefully stowed away, THAT was when my adventure began. The high of that day in white may have dissipated, but I was left with a man that would love me and walk with me through the rest of my life. I thank God for the gift of marriage. For my chance to love and be loved. I wake in the morning knowing that my husband will be by my side. Flowers may wilt, and memories may fade, but I have been given something precious that by the grace of God will never be spoiled. I pray that I never take this gift for granted.

He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the LORD. Proverbs 18:22
