***Pregnancy Survey

**WEEK 19

How big is the baby? About 10 inches long. And as of last week, 9 oz. A week ahead for weight!

Weight Gain: About 6 lbs.

Maternity Clothes? I LOVE my forever 21 maternity skinny jeans. They are a staple! I am wearing many cute maternity tops from Gap, but I can still wear some of my non-maternity tops, too. A bump is actually a great accessory :)/

Sleep? My Snoogle body pillow has saved my life. Keep me from rolling over onto my belly!

Best Moment of the Week? SEEING the kicking that I've already felt for a long time. This morning I saw my belly rising and falling from baby's kicks. Coolest thing ever!!

Food Cravings/Aversions: Not too many aversions, but many cravings! Mac and cheese always makes me happy. I've also been craving burgers! And fries. LOVE fries right now. And lots of milk! I can't get enough of that delicious cow juice :)

Movement: Lots of kicking in the evening and in and am. Especially after I have had OJ or coffee. Best feeling ever!

What I miss? Wine and beer! A small price to pay for my little one, though :)

What I'm Looking forward to? Hubby feeling baby kick from outside my belly :). It's hard to catch right now!

Who are you?

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

On Monday, January 23rd, I will know who is currently occupying my belly! I cannot wait! I have honestly enjoyed not knowing. What a fun secret! I have had fun daydreaming and imaging, but now it is time to put a "face" to my dreams. It will also make it so much easier for my name hunting! And shopping, of course :)

Stay tuned to find out if baby Guthrie is a "he" or "she"!

An Everlasting LOVE

There are not many days in my life that have truly marked me. In fact, I can only think of two. One of those days is my wedding day. I remember everything about that day so vividly; the smell of the perfume I wore, the way me dress swished when I walked, and the way it felt to hold the hands of my new husband at the alter. I was excited and hopeful on that day, knowing that my life was about to change. Nothing, though, could have prepared me for the wonderful life that would follow. After the cake was gone, the last present had been opened, and my dress was carefully stowed away, THAT was when my adventure began. The high of that day in white may have dissipated, but I was left with a man that would love me and walk with me through the rest of my life. I thank God for the gift of marriage. For my chance to love and be loved. I wake in the morning knowing that my husband will be by my side. Flowers may wilt, and memories may fade, but I have been given something precious that by the grace of God will never be spoiled. I pray that I never take this gift for granted.

He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the LORD. Proverbs 18:22

Yadda, Yadda

After months of not having a laptop (thank you, Diggy, for chewing through my power cord), I am back. Although I don't have anything too exciting to say, I suppose a few updates are in order. First off, Will and I recently moved to a new place. We are finally living the Baltimore life, rowhome-style. Rowhomes were foreign to me before I moved to Baltimore. They are as the name suggests...homes..in a row. Ours is adorable and just the right size. Will has his own study nook (where he lives), and I FINALLY have a kitchen I can move in. For this, I am grateful. And I never thought I would say this, but I am really looking forward to cooler weather. This Baltimore humidity is so passe - I'm ready to wear my fall sweaters and make butternut squash soup :).

Earlier this month, I headed to NYC with girls from my salon for hair classes with Unite (the company my salon works with). The education coincided with Fashion Week and exhibited styles straight from the runway. It was inspiring and rekindled my love for runway fashion. I hope that Unite will open doors for future participation in Fashion Week - so exciting :). I had a blast with the girls from the salon, and I was lucky enough the run the streets of Soho with Camille. I love my sis :).

My brilliant dentist husband is, of course, doing well in school. He passed his boards (with flying colors I might add :), and he will hopefully be whitening my teeth before long (that is why he started all of this, right?).

All and all, it has been a great start to the fall season. I am busy at work, I love my clients, and I am excited to see what God has in store for our little family this coming season!
